Teacher Training Testimonials

“I applied for teacher training because I wanted to deepen my yoga practice.  Not only did this training program provide the instruction necessary to enhance my practice it also helped me to develop the confidence to teach!  The year long training gives students the necessary time to cultivate awareness and integrate the learning.  The class schedule makes it possible to maintain your life while you learn.  Yoga Springs Studio and the teachers there create a nurturing environment where each student feels supported.  It was truly a blessing to take part in the teacher training program at Yoga Springs.  I would recommend the training to anyone interested in deepening their practice or looking for the confidence and skill necessary to teach!” -Larisa McHugh, RYT, Yoga Springs class of 2010, MA, MT-BC, Music Therapist, Board Certified

“The teacher training program at Yoga Springs prepared me to teach and deepen my own practice. Monica provided us with the tools, support and inspiration to achieve our goals and dreams. It was a transformational experience that has deeply influenced my life. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to deepen their own practice and/or teach.” -Genise Johnson, RYT, Class of 2010

“Upon entering teacher training at Yoga Springs, I was interested in deepening my yoga practice and, maybe, teaching. What I found was an inspiration to share this ancient practice, a kula of like-minded souls, and a thorough teaching that encompasses not just asanas but the sutras, ethics, and anatomy. I am excited about yoga as a lifestyle that embraces the present moment in body, mind, and soul. In it I have found a calmness that is deep and abiding.”
Rita Coleman, Yoga-Teacher-in Training, class of 2011

“Yoga Springs teacher training program exceeded my expectations and has permanently impacted the way I approach yoga. I consider the 12 months of training a significant experience in my life. The program combines alignment and anatomy principals, quality instruction, and a safe but challenging environment. I highly recommend Yoga Springs teacher training program to anyone willing to reach further into his or her study of yogic philosophy, self-understanding and personal growth.”-Lisa Minna, Teacher In training, 2011, Library Media Specialist
