This 8-week session continues the journey of developing a home practice with an emphasis on building upper body strength, and deeper into the poses covered in Part 1. Prior yoga experience requested although It is not necessary to have taken Part 1. We will continue to use the book, 30 Essential Poses by Judith Lasater as our guide. Yoga Basics for Women – Part 1
March 8-April 26, 2012
Thursday 5-6:15pm
This class will focus on creating a basic home practice with attention to spinal alignment and healthy joint function. We will also apply specific yogic practices to address women’s health issues to help us move gracefully through the phases of life with the support of community. We will use the book, 30 Essential Poses by Judith Lasater as our guide. (available for purchase at the studio). Session $85 for 8-weeks
