Mary Sinclair, R.Y.T.
Mary Sinclair obtained her certification as a Balance teacher at the Balance Center in Palo Alto, California under the tutelage of Jean Couch, she continues to study and train regularly. Her most recent studies include a trip to Paris, France, to study with Noelle Perez-Christiaens, the original founder of this body of work. Mary brings passion and dedication to her classes, helping her students to experience life in an aligned and pain-free manner.
Since 1990 Mary has actively explored ways to live in optimal balance within the body. By incorporating balance into her own life, she successfully teaches her students the skills for embodying balance in their own lives. Rather than simply explaining the theory of what “to do,” she teaches “how to” practices that relieve tension and pain.
In 2001 Mary received her 500 hour yoga teacher certification under Yoga Alliance standards in 2007 through the Shiva Shakti Synthesis teacher training which she is now an active contributor. After completing courses with the Central Ohio School of Massage in 1996, Mary became an active, licensed massage therapist. She has also studied at the Columbus Polarity Therapy Center and is attuned in Reiki through Level 2. Mary has taught various workshops and teacher-training courses at Yoga on High, throughout Central Ohio, at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival in Fairbanks, AK, and at the Balance Center in Palo Alto, CA.
